Bear lake family retreat
This year we were grateful to have most our children and ask of our grandchildren there. Joseph had to work. Heidi arrived awry our house Thursday night. We left Friday morning and skill arrived at the cabin for lunch. The food was great the whole time. At night we watcheda movie called..the walk...in the theater.
Saturday morning found itsl pin the suppressing hill worth snow swirling all around. Dan rented a snowmobile and there was lots of sledding.
Sunday wasebleskitters then Trisha took a family picture. going to sacrament and more great food. We also enjoyed fhe with Kali and listening to Mike's conversion story art night we played a game with the kids.

Monday was cleaning, cleaning, cleaning And heading home
3-6- Dan and I went with mom to go to Rootstech at the Salt Palace. Dan drove us each day and dropped us off. It was a good experience with lots of inspiration.
6- Trisha had a welcome home party for Cannon at her house. Lasannea was delicious and the dessert was incredible... so great to see Cannon again! Thanks Trisha.
Dan
2- Dan was in charge of our date. We walked at the mall, had panda sweet and sour then came home to each find funny videos and inspirational story videos. Dan won. Then we had banana splits and watched a football game. fun
4- Dan and I had our Paublo date with Trisha and Darrin.
7- Dan announced his retirement!!!!!! Joseph went to the store and bought everything for a spectacular dinner to congratulate him
8- Dan I went walking, to a Dr. appt and I went to physical therapy. After work Dan and I went with Kerri and Brad to the Lobster with Gary and Susan. Yum!!
30- I was in charge of our date. We bought ties at Savers, went to Belgium Waffle for dinner then went to Dan's work to clear the things out of his desk then home for banana splits and dancing.
Patricia
1- I put away christmas stuff, went to shop and get new Christmas ornaments for next year and fixed the dryer vernt with Dan. A walk with Dan,
2- I helped Cindy organize at her school
4- Went to a new physical therapist, Roger (actually I had already seen him for my neck)Helped Cindy at her school
5- visited Comdu. meeting with Kerri, dealing with Headaches and difficult physical thereapy. Kerri gave me a massage for my Christmas gift. It was great.
6- Helping Trisha and went to the temple, meeting with Kerri
7- visiting Ruby, visiting teaching, excited about Dan's upcoming retirement!!! :)

25- helping at Cindy's school, physical therapy, visiting Cindy, helping mom, walking with Dan at the mall.
26- walking with margaret, going to the temple, watching the boys for Trisha, Trisha and I went house hunting, found out that mom has macular degeneration in one of her eyes,
25- rough morning. It too 1.5 hrs. to get rid of my headache with ice packs and exedrine. I am thankful Dan likes to go walking with me, for my mountain brothers (a poem I once wrote about the mountains being like my big brothers), for my new phone, for Cindy's protection last night in her car and for the food I bought when grocery shopping. We are so blessed. Thanks Father.
28- visited Milo and Jackie Hadlock, sang at the rehab center, red hat lunch with mom, Dan's retirement lunch
29-physical therapy, Dan's last full day,
30- we went walking at Valley Fair Mall then stopped to visit Burton. When we got home we discovered that someone had anonymously shoveled our walk!
I am thankful for 11:00 church times, for friends who have birthdays for warm blankets, new panchos and sidewalks that don't have snow to shovel :) Thanks Father.
I am thankful for our "Paublo" dates with our adult children, for our endearing mountains, for the cell phone which allows mom to talk to me each day from St. George and for the soft snoore of our beloved lab, Divit. Thanks Father.
I am thankful for kind friends, for grateful children, for incredibly cute grandkids, for calls from mom, for help with editing my writing and for the power of the word of God. Thanks Father.
I am thankful for audiobooks. I just listened Marco Rubio's and Ben Carsen's books. I learned so much about their lives and their Christian values. I feel blessed because of their lives. Thanks Father.
I am thankful for a couch to lay on when I want a mini-nap, for laughing time with Dan, for a trip to St. George in a few weeks and for a mom who brain-storms with me. Thanks Father.
I am thankful I could visit an elderly neighbor today. I am thankful I could be there when the careger was coming to serve her and most of all I am thankful I could feel of her sweet spirit and I asked her if I could brush her head and grateful she said yes. It is moments like this that make living life so worthwhile! Thanks Father. Cindy
1- Cindy was in an accident last night while driving home from walmart. Ugh... what a way to bring in the new year!
I am thankful for date night with Dan. We take turns and it makes our adventures so much fun. I was in charge last night. We went to Savers, to dinner and worked together on a dejunking project! Thanks Father
