MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
Thursday- I worked with mom to get the motorhome ready. We first visited my friend, Peg, and her husband then met Edlynn (moms cousin) at kneaders for lunch. Mom and got flowers on the graves in Mapleton and Manti. Mom made spaghetti for dinner.Hamiltons arrived 3 hours before anyone else. Simons arrived next, Later Jenae and Danny then Mike and the boys then Cindy and Tiarra. Dan came after work and Burton and his baby, Story got there. Dan and I slept at the Western Inn in Spanish Fork at night.
Friday: It was a rough night for most of the crew. The rain pelted down and drenched areas of the motorhome and two tent trailers. Jason helped mom in many ways and so did Mike. We sang happy birthday to Michael. The scarry part was when Spencer got lost. He was wandering around looking for flowers for mom. Trisha found him in the lower part of the camp. A nice man was helping him.
The Simons decided that their tent trailer would need much more work before it was ready to be used again so they headed out after lunch. Mike put a big tarp over his. The funny thing is that the Hamiltons stayed dry in their tent because they had put a large tarp over it. Friday included a long, fun walk with the girls and I. Dan and I slept at the hotel
Saturday: Still raining off and on. I ended up with a bad headache so Dan gave me a neck rub and Cindy did too when we arrived. Dan helped a lot with the breakfast by cooking all the pancakes. We did our Tews Stew. Edlynn (Mom's cousin) and her husband joined us. Dan and I left early because the Van is acting strange and the check engine is on. Dan also has Church commitments tomorrow.
Sunday- Dan and I were home doing our usual church things. In the early afternoon we went to visit the Potts graves and bring flowers. At the campsite Cindy and Heidi and their families left. By the time Dan and got there only Jenae and Dany and Mom and Burton and Story were there.

Hutchison's "Project M&M" Our ward did kind things for a week and wrote them down (268 of them) and then in addition to giving Pre. Hutchison the M&M's we gave him an envelope with the list of 268 service gifts. Tonight the Hutchisons invited the Bishoprick their home for dinner and games. It was marvelous!

I then went to the church dairy to give service but they had more people than they needed so I went home, got a rest then went to visit my sister before going with Dan to see Michael get his arrow of Light.
- 20. I watched Trisha's boys this morning, had a meeting with kerri, skyed with Tiffany, learned that Connie, a lady I visit teach to, has cancer in her brain, lungs and kidneys. :(
- 26- Helped mom clean out for memorial, visited Cindy, tried to get the Van fixed. Skyping with Tiff, Dan had to work late.
- 27-watched the boys while Trisha got food storage, Looks like our van has bit the dust... what vehicle comes next?
- 28-29 - I went with mom to find a car to replace her Honda. We bought her Honda. These two days were long and took us from Orem to downtown SLC. but we finally found a Buick Verona that she likes!!!! yaa!!!!

- Jesus is the good samaritan in my life. He rescues and heals me.
Sometimes instead of asking the Lord for a boat we need to ask for tools to build the boat
